Restaurant Zwei und Zwanzig

Green, modern, delicious!

"Vegan, regional, and seasonal" – this is what defines the cuisine of Marina Ginkel and Dirk Schritt at their restaurant in Geisenheim. They derived the name Zwei und Zwanzig from the twenty-second letter, "V," of the alphabet: this is their motto, showcasing the restaurant's array of delicious vegan creations. In 2015, the two decided to leave their traditional office jobs to pursue the dream of owning their own restaurant. In their "second living room," as they call it, guests can enjoy tasty, varied, and healthy dishes such as mushroom gyros, braised sunchoke, charred pointed cabbage, tempeh wraps, and much more. In their first cookbook, Marina and Dirk demonstrate with over 100 diverse recipes that a purely plant-based diet does not mean deprivation, but rather variety, enjoyment, and culinary delights.
