The diverse challenges faced by the large number of young people living in residential groups outside their families require a pedagogical support concept that is professionally grounded and humanely oriented, providing these young individuals with a temporary home. What could such a concept look like? A systemic-pedagogical approach embraces the young person in all their facets and expressions, including their suffering, accompanying them and fostering a binding, reliable relationship. Often, these young people have developed behaviors and emotions characterized by distrust, rejection, and resignation, often against the backdrop of precarious family realities, academic pressures, or multiple therapeutic coping attempts. A systemic-pedagogical approach to working with these young individuals promotes a gentle and equal relationship.
