Rendezvous mit Rama

From the depths of space, a mysterious object emerges, initially believed by scientists to be an asteroid. Its sheer size—observed while still outside the orbit of Jupiter—is impressive, prompting Captain Norton to be dispatched aboard the spaceship Endeavour to investigate. It quickly becomes apparent that the asteroid is a perfect cylinder—clearly of non-natural origin. Norton and his crew manage to penetrate the interior of the spacecraft. What they discover there surpasses all imagination. Arthur C. Clarke's masterpiece "Rendezvous with Rama" won the Hugo and Nebula Awards and is being adapted into a film by acclaimed director Denis Villeneuve.
