Religion und Religiosität im vereinigten Deutschland

Just ten years after the upheaval, there was great astonishment that, contrary to widely held expectations, there had not been a comprehensive revitalization of religion and religiosity in East Germany. Ten years later, the question arises whether this assessment can still be maintained or if the situation has significantly changed in the meantime. Has there been a further decline in the significance of religious beliefs, or can counter-movements now be observed? The book addresses various facets of this question and also takes into account a comparative perspective with the European context.
