Religion subjektorientiert erschliessen

The topic of this yearbook of religious education takes up a basic concern of religious didactics and at the same time a central challenge that arises from the contemporary religious situation for religious education: the ever-increasing individualisation and pluralisation of religion and religiosity, which is often seen as the signature of our time. What exactly is meant by subject orientation in terms of religious didactics and school pedagogy? What understanding of the subject is assumed? In which dimensions and aspects must subject orientation be concretised? Where can this succeed at all in practice under today's conditions? Such questions necessarily touch on different understandings of religion and religiosity, but also of non-denominationalism, since according to today's understanding religious education should by no means be open only to members of the churches. The volume offers different possibilities for a subject-oriented approach to religion and religiosity. Tried and tested models such as correlation didactics and elementary teaching are put to the test, and ways that have not yet been explored, such as finding the form of religion in religious education and supporting the ability to speak religiously, are presented.
