Product details
Volume 2 documents the standard gauge passenger cars of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft built between 1932 and 1937. During this period, the transition from riveting to welding technology is completed. The book also contains an itemized list of the car construction contracts between 1932 and 1937, including those for the Deutsche Reichspost railway post cars and for the standard gauge dining and sleeping cars of MITROPA. Of particular interest are also the detailed descriptions of the bogie designs. The new format of the book, which was first published in 1988, allows the cars to be depicted more generously. The car drawings are printed on a scale of 1:100.
