Kenya is a colorful mosaic of magnificent natural landscapes, ranging from the tropical coast of the Indian Ocean to Mount Kenya and Lake Victoria, all the way to gently rolling savanna plains. Kenya has long been synonymous with safaris. Particularly spectacular are the massive wildlife migration in the Maasai Mara National Reserve and the visit to Amboseli National Park, known for its large herds of elephants.

At the same time, Kenya is home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites and some of the most significant archaeological treasures of prehistory. In addition to the vibrant capital Nairobi, a melting pot of diverse cultures and religions, the old towns of Mombasa and Lamu are especially worth seeing.
