Economic law regulates companies by governing their communication. However, it has so far struggled with the self-reinforcing dynamics of communication processes, as evidenced by stock market crashes or operational blindness. To capture this dynamic, the book lays the foundation for an interdisciplinary exchange in legal studies, develops a new regulatory model in response to previous approaches, and introduces a communication-theoretical analysis of law. Based on this, it addresses corporate and capital market law in an international comparison, analyzes the practices of courts, authorities, and stock exchange operators, and contributes to resolving contentious issues.
