Regressionsanalyse: Theorie, Technik und Anwendung

The textbook explains how to perform and interpret classical regression analyses (according to the OLS method) and logistic regression analyses (according to the ML method). In the text, particular attention is paid to the review of the application prerequisites of regression estimates. Typical fallacies and frequently encountered misinterpretations are also dealt with (e.g. in the case of coefficients of determination, in the case of standardized regression coefficients and in the case of centered effects). In addition, advanced procedures such as test strength analyses, regressions with dummy variables, and model estimates with moderator and mediator variables are explained. The format of the presentation is practice-oriented. All procedures are explained using examples (including the SPSS instructions required for practice). New in the fifth edition are (among others): Regression analysis with missing value.
