Introduction, Explanations, and Exercises

For some time now, teachers have been using the topological field model from the fifth grade up to the final exams. They are confronted with a multitude of questions and technical terms:

• What do I need the field model for?
• How do I enter sentence series and sentence structures?
• What about special cases like predicatives?
• Why is it sometimes called sentence bracket, verb bracket, or predicate bracket?
• What pitfalls exist with the different types of sentences?

This comprehensive textbook, created by two secondary school teachers, offers an extensive overview of the entire subject area on approximately 96 pages: scientifically and didactically - and includes many exercises ranging from student-friendly simple declarative sentences to interrogative sentences and complex introduced and non-introduced sentence structures. Each type of sentence is preceded by a step-by-step guide that enables learners of all school types to independently tackle even challenging sentences.

In the booklet, the exercises are presented in a reduced black-and-white format along with solutions. The download area contains all worksheets in color, spanning 140 pages, as well as the solutions, should you wish to provide them to your learning group.

The booklet is the ideal companion for all three levels of secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg, from grade 5 up to the final exams. In this scope and form, the textbook is currently unique.
