Product details

Speculation is a new series that honors the intellectual and theoretical currents that have been emerging in a very heterogeneous manner over the past few years, aiming to establish a new paradigm of philosophical thought. The common point of departure for the speculative positions, which are not necessarily compatible with one another, is a (post)modern condition that has been exhausted since the end of the 20th century. A hallmark of these new approaches to thinking is their positive relationship with ontology and their relaxed engagement with metaphysics. The book series will introduce this new speculative thinking to a German-speaking audience through first publications, essay collections, and translations of key texts by authors who have primarily been received in the Anglo-American and French-speaking worlds. Ultimately, it also aims to expand the concept of the speculative.
