Sandra Noa was born in 1978 in Berlin. After her diverse studies in journalism and educational sciences, she completed various internships, including one in the editorial team of the television program "Löwenzahn." Since 2005, she has been working as a freelance author of children's non-fiction books. What she particularly enjoys about her profession is the variety and the fact that she learns something new with each book. Sandra Noa has already found her dream of happiness: a dream job, a wonderful family, and close friendships.

Illustrator: Steffen Walentowitz
Steffen Walentowitz, born in 1962, lives and works today as a book illustrator and painter in Jever, Northern Germany. His works have been exhibited in Germany, the Netherlands, England, Israel, Canada, and the USA. Walentowitz successfully creates naturalistic animal illustrations for nature, picture, and non-fiction books. For many years, he has been observing our animal world and depicts it in an appealing manner with many details. "I focus on clear, varied illustrations in which the child viewer can discover something even on the second and third glance," says the illustrator about his work.

Illustrator: Tobias Pahlke
Tobias Pahlke studied communication design in Hamburg. After some detours into advertising and exhibition construction, he has been working as a freelance illustrator since 2009. He prefers working with traditional media like watercolors, acrylics, and colored pencils over digital work on the computer and illustrates for non-fiction, newspaper, school book, and children's book publishers.
