Author text
"I've always been quite curious and in search of secrets, puzzles and secrets hidden." Fabian Lenk, born 1963, studied journalism in Munich and has been working as an editor ever since. At first he published crime novels for adults, but in the meantime he writes only for children and teenagers. Fabian Lenk likes all texts that are very exciting, funny and informative at the same time. That's why he prefers to write books that have to do with history or exciting places, such as the successful series The Time Detectives and The Treasure Hunters. Fabian Lenk also likes to involve his readers in the plot: In his guessing detective novels, the young readers take part in the hunt for the culprit by solving puzzles. Fabian Lenk lives with his wife and son near Bremen and illustrator Rolf Bunse studied graphic design in Aachen. He is father and grandfather of a handful of children, and still lives and works in the tri-border region of Aachen.
