There is more to discover outside. Open-air services have emerged that engage with the unavailable, lead into liturgical play, and enable unique spiritual experiences. Surprising, completely different from expectations, and with spiritual depth. This volume focuses on dynamic services in freedom and expansiveness. Biblical words and stories give rise to new forms and actions. The Gospel connects with personal life stories. Natural spaces are explored. Under God's blessing. Above all, the urban biblical experience stands out: "God brought me out into a spacious place. He rescued me because he delighted in me." (Psalm 18:20) Nature experiences and play are also theologically reflected upon in this sense and interpreted for liturgical practice. The experiential liturgies have been developed from the perspective and with the participation of various target groups: Bible hikes with children, a willow church created by youth, and a garden church in the neighborhood.
