Ten percent of seven-year-old children wet their bed at night and two to three percent wet their pants during the day, while one to two percent of teenagers still wet their pants regularly. The children and adolescents are often unhappy and desperate and avoid activities with peers. Parents also suffer from the problem, are very concerned about their children's development and often feel guilty. Effective treatment options are available. The aim of the guidebook is to provide an understandable overview of the different forms of wetting and to inform about the various treatment options. In the second edition of the guidebook, the latest recommendations for the treatment of wetting have been taken into account in order to achieve rapid dryness and relief for the entire family.
