Irmgard Möller, who was released from prison in 1994 after almost 23 years, was already involved in the RAF's formative phase. She is the only survivor of the still unsolved Stammheim night of death in 1977; and in 1992, on behalf of the RAF prisoners, she welcomed the RAF's decision not to carry out any more assassinations until further notice. In this book, she tells why she joined the RAF, discusses the development of the armed struggle, and reports on her incommunicado detention, the hunger strikes, and her experiences after her release from prison.
