Hans Weigand not only designed the cover for Quart 43, but also a series of images entitled "Multimedia Punk Baroque" - based on an exhibition at the Palazzo Pisani S. Marina in Venice. The freelance costume designer Victoria Behr, who has received several awards as "Costume Designer of the Year" in the UK and France, provides an insight into her work on the left-hand pages. Frida Paris takes a typographical and lyrical look at the first encounter between Friederike Mayröcker and Ernst Jandl in Innsbruck. Thomas Wördehoff talks about his encounter with the musicologist Walter Deutsch. A running text comes from Daniel Wisser, picture series from Erich Gruber and Götz Diergarten and the country is surveyed by Elke Laznia. The original supplement, an exclusive work of art that comes with every issue, is by visual artist Maria Walcher.
