Product details

The study examines the extent to which German manufacturing companies in China, India and Mexico are attempting to transfer the German dual training model or are adapting their training practices to the local context. The focus is on influencing factors that affect the possible transfer from the company's perspective. The findings show a considerable influence of the national framework in the regions studied. Nevertheless, dual approaches can also be identified in all three countries, which emerge from the shaping power of the companies and thereby overcome the local context.
