Diana Ringelsiep, born in 1985 in Bochum, grew up in a small town in northern Hesse and studied at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Since then, the cultural journalist has been writing for various magazines and daily newspapers. Her articles have appeared in newspapers such as FAZ, taz, and Tagesspiegel, as well as in numerous music and lifestyle magazines. From 2013 to 2015, Diana Ringelsiep was co-editor of the PUNKROCK! fanzine, for which she conducted numerous interviews and wrote a regular column. She particularly enjoys writing about topics related to pizza, punk, and pop culture. In the summer of 2018, the journalist embarked on a research trip through the Southeast Asian underground with music manager Felix Bundschuh. In her book A GLOBAL MESS and the documentary of the same name, they portray familiar subcultures in unknown places. Diana Ringelsiep lives and writes in Essen.
Ronja Schwikowski, born in 1983 in Regensburg, is the editor-in-chief of the Plastic Bomb fanzine, managing director and owner of the associated mail order for music and clothing, and runs the in-house record label. She frequently attends punk concerts or organizes them herself. The freelance journalist and author now lives in the Ruhr area. On her social media channels, she raises awareness about sexism in the punk scene.
