"Pooh pooh!" said A. A. Milne's one-year-old son Christopher Robin when he saw his new teddy sitting on the mantelpiece at Christmas. This inspired the name for what would become the most famous teddy bear story in the world: Winnie the Pooh. The adventures that Christopher Robin had with Pooh and his friends were later written down and published by Milne. There is no doubt that Pooh fans everywhere are deeply grateful to him for this. Nothing has been lost from the terribly exciting experiences with Pooh, the lovable bear of little intelligence, the somewhat anxious Piglet, the grumpy Eeyore, and all the other highly important characters from the Hundred Acre Wood. For example, the story of when Pooh, craving honey, wanted to float high up into the treetops with a blue balloon and attempted—through a bee-distracting maneuver!—to look like a little black cloud...
