Prüfung der Reliabilität des Testprotokolls isokinetischer Messungen

The aim of this study was to determine the reliability of the collected maximum strength values and the electromyogram (EMG) data based on the Root Mean Squares (RMS) during concentric and eccentric maximum knee extensions at two angular velocities using the Isomed2000 dynamometer. Furthermore, the relationship between maximum strength and RMS was examined. Twenty-two physically active male participants were tested at three time points (T1-T3) with a three-day break between tests. The maximum strength of leg extension and the RMS of the M. rectus femoris, M. vastus medialis, and M. vastus lateralis of the right leg were measured. Reliability was calculated using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient ICC (2,1), and the difference testing was performed using a repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA). The maximum strength and RMS values were normalized based on isokinetic maximum voluntary contractions (isometric MVC method) and subsequently examined for their correlation using Pearson's correlation. Finally, the results were presented, analyzed, and discussed.
