Noam Chomsky, born on December 7, 1928, has been a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1961. His books on linguistics, philosophy, and politics have been published in all major languages of the world. Since the 1960s, Noam Chomsky has revolutionized our understanding of language and thought. At the same time, he is one of the sharpest critics of the current world order and U.S. imperialism. In 2010, Noam Chomsky was awarded the Erich Fromm Prize.
