The workbook provides two teaching projects to prepare for Part 1 of the journeyman examination and is intended for self-study. The aspiring metalworker journeyman receives a practice book that allows him to prepare independently and very closely to the actual exam situation. All exam components, including the production of the exam piece in the workshop, are simulated. The evaluation sheets along with examples and the suggested solutions in the appendix help to clarify uncertainties and realistically assess one's own knowledge and skills, allowing for improvements where necessary.
