Projektmanagement und Digital Humanitie

The framework conditions for projects in the Digital Humanities can be challenging: On one hand, the expectation for innovation from participating institutions and funding bodies is unrestrained. On the other hand, the coordination of interdisciplinary, complex large-scale projects, as well as the development of research infrastructure and services, requires a professionalization of project management. The contributors provide insights into different practices and gather perspectives from the academic community. In doing so, they take the first step to bring the field into the German-speaking professional discourse and demonstrate methodological approaches for the further development of science management through theory-driven reflections.
