A structured approach to project management in construction is an important foundation for success. During the project phases, processes and methods tailored to the specific application case are utilized. Chapter 1 introduces the methodological foundations of project management. The tasks of project management by the client as the initiator of the project are examined in Chapter 2; among other things, the basics of demand planning are discussed alongside financial planning and influences from public construction law. Chapter 3 involves the planner's side in the continuation of the project; here, the key performance contents are presented. Chapter 4 follows with the project phase of realization: the tasks and responsibilities of construction companies in this phase are illustrated, rounding off the complex tasks of project management from the idea to implementation.
