Even the ancient Egyptians used them: simple machines. Engaging with these concepts allows students to grasp and understand fundamental aspects of physics and mechanics. With this material, your students will learn about simple machines such as the pulley and block, the wheel and axle, the skateboard, the lever, the inclined plane, and the gear. This learning takes place against the backdrop of pyramid construction in Ancient Egypt, as students assist the character Kamal in making the work on the pyramid as easy as possible. They then apply their knowledge to their everyday lives and familiar tools such as fishing rods, carpenter's hammers, and bottle openers. Students will also learn to create technical drawings, design their own machines, and find solutions to problems that require the use of simple machines. Research tasks will sustainably spark their interest in science and technology. Content includes: What is force and how does it work, transportation in the horizontal, transportation in the vertical, my knowledge book "Pyramids," what exactly is a machine and what is mechanics, you will become an inventor, the spring scale.
