Volume VII of the book series "Moeller, Guide to Electrical Engineering" has previously aimed to complement Volume I with examples of the fundamentals of electrical engineering in a manner desirable for students. These examples will largely be integrated into Volume I in the future. On the other hand, in the meantime, the programmable calculator has initiated a new development for solving electrical engineering problems. It was therefore logical to align Volume VII with this changed approach and thus create a textbook for the practical application of calculators in electrical engineering. It aims to sensibly complement the other guide volumes with many examples from the most important areas. Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering is assumed; therefore, they and the equations used will only be briefly repeated as a postulate.
