Cherie Denham grew up in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, and discovered her love for cooking while watching her grandmothers and great-aunts bake and preserve in the kitchens of their farmhouses, where they lived off the land. After teaching at Leith's School of Food and Wine, she worked for a time as a private chef before founding her own catering company and cooking school. Her food articles have appeared in the magazine delicious., and her TikTok video from 2022, in which she makes Irish butter, has been viewed 32 million times to date. She is married and has three hungry teenage sons. This is her first book.

Andrew Montgomery has been a photographer his entire life. After graduating from art school, he apprenticed with black-and-white printer Roy Snell and initially photographed portraits before turning to lifestyle and documentary photography. His first book assignment was "Country" by Jasper Conran, followed by more than 20 titles on food, travel, and gardening. After the release of "Petersham Nurseries" in 2021, Andrew founded his own publishing company, Montgomery Press.
