A classroom novel is a joint project whose results can impressively reflect both the overall structure of the class and the individuality of the pupils. The pupils decide together on a theme and a basic plot, they invent characters, devise plot lines - and finally individual chapters are created, which in turn come together to form something big, the novel. For this to succeed, careful planning and adherence to basic working steps are essential. This volume of material provides the basis for the successful completion of a novel project. The individual work steps are explained in detail, divided into teaching units and completed with materials and handouts. The focus is on the development of plots and characters, questions about perspective, dialogue and details as well as handouts and tips.
