The Dementia Green Care Practical Handbook establishes and demonstrates how outdoor spaces can be designed for people with dementia or challenging behavior to enhance their orientation, sense of meaning, curiosity, and cognition. In addition to clarifying fundamental terms such as process, garden therapy, and greencare, the guide shows how outdoor spaces can be utilized both actively and passively, while ensuring they are designed to be low-risk and safe.
