Silvia Henke is a professor of cultural theory at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Her research focuses on art and religion, transcultural image and art education, aesthetic education, art and politics, as well as language and discourse criticism. Dieter Mersch (Prof. Dr. emeritus) is a former head of the Institute for Theory at the Zurich University of the Arts and vice president of the German Society for Aesthetics. His areas of expertise include philosophical aesthetics, media philosophy, image theory, and philosophy of music. Thomas Strässle (Prof. Dr.) heads the Institute for Transdisciplinarity (Y Institute) at the Bern University of the Arts and is a titular professor of modern German and comparative literature at the University of Zurich. He is the president of the Max Frisch Foundation at ETH Zurich and a member of the critics' panel in the literature club of SRF/3sat. His research areas encompass German literature from the 17th to the 21st century in a European context and the relationship between literature and other arts, particularly music and material aesthetics. Nicolaj van der Meulen (Prof. Dr.) is the program director of the interdisciplinary teaching format CoCreate at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. His research focuses on culinary aesthetics, philosophy of food, as well as image theory and image competence. Jörg Wiesel (Prof. Dr.) is the program director of the BA Fashion Design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. He publishes on the history and theory of theater, piracy, the intermediality of film and fashion, and conducts research on topics related to culinary arts, cooking, as well as the economies of aesthetics and broadcasting.
