Paul Scherz is a physicist and mechanical engineer who earned his bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Wisconsin. His current area of interest in physics focuses on the interactions of elementary particles, also known as high-energy physics, and he is working on a new theory regarding photon problems alongside Nikolus Kauer, who holds a PhD in high-energy physics from Munich. Paul is also an inventor and hobbyist in the field of electronics, a domain he has come to appreciate through his experiences in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics as well as in the Department of Plasma Physics.
