Die 3. Kompanie

The book tells the story of the 3rd Company of the SS Panzer Regiment 12, which was established in 1943 as part of the 12th SS Panzer Division 'Hitlerjugend', in an exciting manner through text and images. It covers the formation, training, daily life, and operations of the company and its soldiers. The first company commander was SS-Obersturmführer Rudolf von Ribbentrop, a Knight's Cross holder and son of the Reich Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop. In 1944, the company found itself in the midst of the fierce defensive battle in Normandy following the Allied landing, where it fought, among other places, in the Falaise Pocket. It later participated in the Ardennes Offensive and was deployed in Austria at the end of the war. Its members ultimately fell into American captivity.
