In an increasingly complex working world characterized by growing competition, ever tougher competition and globalization, traditional human resource concepts are reaching their limits. Only companies that recognize people as their most valuable resource can remain competitive. With Positive Organizational Behavior, the author of this paper introduces a comparatively young concept that applies the development and use of psychological capital to the workplace.
