A mountain rescue dog with a four-generation pedigree is retired (but not resting), two cats behind fences, a toothless rodent that chatters in the local dialect, a goose, a hard-to-decipher chicken, and a gang of hoofed animals from beyond the eastern border. Oh, and a parrot in the cloak of a highlander. It doesn’t get better than this.

And yet! The arrival of five homeless puppies at Chata pod Wierchami takes the concept of a “mad house” to a whole new level!

Fortunately, there is method behind this madness and more than one moral. The Podhale team will effectively teach health, safety, and self-confidence in the mountains. Everyone, not just puppies.

The residents of Chata pod Wierchami invite the whole family, including parents and grandparents, to join them on this adventure. After all, it’s never too late to learn something new and have fun.
