Politische und wirtschaftliche Prozesse im modernen Spanien

The monograph by Hungarian economist György Simon, Jr. focuses on analyzing the political and economic aspects of the fundamental processes of modern capitalist development in Spain. The theoretical framework of the study includes the mechanism of economic growth and economic policy areas such as the mobilization of internal resources and international economic conditions. The endogenous growth model, which incorporates a mechanism for technological progress and is primarily used here for practical calculations, takes into account both physical and human capital as well as time in the role of the event space of creative economic activity. The author primarily relies on this model and attempts to uncover the causes of the post-war Spanish economic miracle and the subsequent decline. Demand-side factors of economic growth are also examined, particularly foreign direct investments.
