Anja Becher

Anja Becher, born on April 22, 1977, in Binningen, is a Swiss-Austrian actress. She comes from a family of writers. Her great-grandfather is the humorist and satirist Roda Roda, her grandfather is the writer Ulrich Becher, and her father is the writer Martin Roda Becher. Anja Becher attended the private acting school in Zurich. Since 2000, she has been working as a freelance actress with the Helmut Förnbacher Theater Company at the Badischer Bahnhof in Basel. Under the direction of Helmut Förnbacher, she played the role of Madame de Tourvel in a stage adaptation of the novel "Dangerous Liaisons" by Choderlos de Laclos. She also portrayed the character Sylvia in the play "The Game of Love and Chance" (Le jeu de l'amour et du hasard) by Pierre Marivaux.
