Pössneck. Alte Bilder erzählen

Even Goethe took a liking to the small town in the Orlasenke when he first visited Pössneck nearly 200 years ago. Today, the picturesque town, located at the foot of the Alteburg, showcases one of the most beautiful late Gothic town halls in Thuringia, along with numerous historic residential and half-timbered houses.

Following the great success of their first picture book featuring historical views of Pössneck, city archivist Christel Ziermann and renowned local historian Hans Walter Enkelmann now present the long-awaited continuation. Once again, they have rummaged through private collections and the city archive's holdings to compile around 220 new, mostly unpublished photos and postcards for this volume.
