In small, manageable units, the notes of the C major scale are learned in the first position. These learning steps are packaged into consistent building blocks that allow for music-making with and without sheet music (improvisation). Using elements of popular music (guitar percussion, ghost notes, strumming, etc.), the course enables collaboration among at least three guitarists from the very beginning, based on the simplest rhythmic foundation.
