"Planet" offers a complete and pedagogically well-thought-out concept for classroom practice. The short lessons are precisely structured. Each step is clearly defined, providing a secure path through the lessons. The progression is gradual. After every two lessons, the speaking intentions and phrases learned, as well as the grammar covered, are highlighted in the section "What I can already do." After every four lessons, there is an opportunity to apply the learned language skills and strategies in a consolidated manner. "In conclusion" provides more complex reading texts that practice reading strategies, cultural information, suggestions for project work, and review exercises. The teaching of learning techniques, relaxed pronunciation exercises, partner activities, and class games are integrated into the lessons. Target audience: Young German learners with no prior knowledge.
