Pita, Burek oder Börek?

Sopska, Greek or Çopansalat, Köfte, Kebab or Cevapcici, Pita, Burek and Börek. Serbian and Bosnian, Macedonian and Montenegrin, Bulgarian and Turkish, Albanian and Kajkavian. These are just a few of the many dishes that are prepared in various forms and enjoyed between Klagenfurt and Istanbul, as well as a few of the many languages you can hear in the Balkans. The couple Lojze Wieser and Barbara Maier traveled over 5000 kilometers during an exploratory trip across the Balkans in 2008. They shared their impressions in a ten-part series in the crossover of the Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard.
