Soraya, das kleine Kamel

Soraya is Arabic and means small. It is the name of the smallest camel, which has not been in the world for long. Nevertheless, Soraya has to walk through the stony desert every day, as it is a pack camel. In between, it means waiting, chewing, and eating prickly desert herbs that poke amusingly in the camel's belly. But sometimes Soraya has special ideas. Today she wants to wear beautiful jewelry just like the daughters of the Bedouins, but of course, it is far too small for a camel. Perhaps one could catch the stars and string them into a sparkling necklace? But where can you find stars other than in the sky? In the water bucket? Or can you reach them from the top of a mountain? It is only when the moon opens its treasure chest in the sky that Soraya's wish is fulfilled in a surprising way.
