The Nursing Professions Reform Act and the Training and Examination Regulations for nursing professions require a redesign of nursing education. The curriculum is not structured according to individual subjects and their logic, but rather focuses on professional action situations as the center of learning. The Pflegias series is aimed at trainees and educators in nursing education. The teaching material has a fundamentally generalist orientation: this encompasses the care of people of all age groups - from newborns to the elderly - and in all nursing settings - outpatient and inpatient, acute and long-term care. The focus is always on the individual with their unique needs, goals, and abilities, as well as their biography. The structure and content of the series are designed from a nursing perspective, based on the learning situations anchored in the curriculum.
