Evaluation des Trainings mit Jugendlichen im Rahmen schulischer Berufsvorbereitung

Social competence plays a central role in the professional context. Cognitive-behavioral training has proven to be particularly effective in promoting social competence. In this study, training with adolescents is integrated as universal prevention into the vocational preparation in a secondary school. After adapting to the setting and target group, an evaluation is conducted using a control group design. The described effects demonstrate that training aimed at enhancing social competence is an important component within a multimodal support structure. The implementation of this training with adolescents in vocational preparation in schools is shown to be beneficial and should be further promoted in the future.
