Peter Carp

The workbook is dedicated to the artistic director and director Peter Carp. As the theater director in Lucerne (2004-2007), as the artistic director of the Theater Oberhausen (2008-2017), and since 2017 as the artistic director of the Theater Freiburg, he developed a theater concept focused on consistent internationalization, envisioning theater as a "receiver of the world." Characteristic of his work was a pronounced sense of exploration, as he generally saw himself as a promoter (Simon Stone, Ewelina Marciniak, Amir Reza Koohestani, Yair Sherman, Herbert Fritsch). The richly illustrated workbook provides information on various aspects of the work of director and artistic director Peter Carp and gathers testimonies from his companions.
