Fundamental for successful literacy acquisition is the children's ability to recognize the structure of spoken language. Through the many lovingly designed images related to rhymes and syllables, students perceive the formal, phonetic aspects of language. The children practice clear pronunciation, find rhymes, and break words into syllables. The tasks do not yet include graphemes but work exclusively with images.
