Product details
Perfectionism is a phenomenon that holds significant importance in today's society. However, it is still not fully clarified which dimensions constitute perfectionism, whether there are positive dimensions in addition to the negative ones, and which other constructs are related to perfectionism. It is known that perfectionists exhibit different affective reactions in performance situations compared to non-perfectionists. The reasons for this have not been thoroughly investigated so far. However, it has been shown that perfectionists regulate their motivation differently and that motivation regulation is related to affect. This thesis now brings together all these findings in the form of a mediation analysis: Does the relationship between perfectionism and affect in a performance situation get mediated by motivation regulation?.
