Per questo mi chiamo Giovanni (That's why I'm called Giovanni) is the story of the anti-mafia judge Giovanni Falcone, who, from 1986 onwards, led a trial against around 400 mafia members and became a symbolic figure in the fight against organised crime. He was murdered in 1992. With a light vocabulary and manageable chapters, this story, which a father tells his son, is very suitable for teaching and for reading on your own. The book contains a short interview with the author and a foreword by Giovanni Falcone's widow. A special feature of this edition is that the explanations of the words were completely worked out by the Italian class of the Bodensee-Gymnasium Lindau.
