Die Zitronenschwestern

Elettra's earliest childhood memory is the scent of anise cookies. Her mother was a gifted baker, whose treats found their way straight to people's hearts. But since she became seriously ill, the family bakery is heading towards bankruptcy. Elettra is completely on her own, as she never learned who her father is. When she hears about a small island in the Mediterranean where her mother supposedly spent the happiest time of her life, she decides to travel there on a whim. Amidst lemon groves, she discovers an abandoned monastery that hides an old love - and perhaps great happiness.
