For more than 20 years, the Canadian Michel Rabagliati has been working on his semi-autobiographical graphic novel series "Paul", which has won many comic awards. In his latest volume, "Paul at Home", he tells with melancholy humour and touching dramaturgy what life is like around 50, of aching shoulders and peculiar garden neighbours, of sobering self-attempts at online dating, of divorce and fear of loss. At the same time, he succeeds in transposing these weighty topics with a light touch and bittersweet self-irony.
